Letter from Editor In Chief - Jerica Williams

Dear Basketball Community,

As official Editor in Chief, I am extremely proud to help introduce the first edition of BTI Nation.

Over the years, I have acquired a passion for basketball and writing.  I am honored at the opportunity to incorporate both aspects in a way to help and inform student athletes, parents, coaches and anyone who is involved with basketball.

After playing high school basketball at Mt. Miguel High School in San Diego, then later attending UCLA before transferring to San Diego State and playing there until December 2009, I have a respect and understanding for the highs and lows of the basketball world.

It is important to me as Editor in Chief, that I interpret and appropriately deliver the voices of the basketball community.

With the efforts of the many contributors, I am hopeful that BTI Nation will be beneficial to the basketball community.  I want this to be a way for the many people in the basketball world, whether active or inactive (currently playing or not currently playing) to be informed, keep in touch, speak about an issue, learn about something or just to simply support.

I want to take the time to thank Robert Icart along with everyone who has contributed to making BTI Nation possible and for giving me the opportunity to be a part of something great.

Thank you for your support.

Jerica Williams
